Refund policy
Quick note: Because Sera Home - The Linen Wash is a washing liquid, we can only accept returns on unopened products unless the item is faulty or damaged.
Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return:
The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging
- The seal must be intact
- You’ll need a receipt or proof of purchase
Due to the nature of laundry detergent and hygiene considerations, we cannot accept returns on opened or used products unless the item is faulty or damaged.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at hello@serahome.com.au within 7 days of delivery, including photos where possible, and we’ll make it right.
Non-returnable items
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- Opened or used detergent
- Items without original packaging or broken seals
- Sale items
- Gift cards
If you’re unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before sending it back.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to request a return (if eligible), and place a new order once your return is approved.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the approval status.
If approved:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method
- Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at hello@serahome.com.au.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
